Nowadays, vegan smoothie bowls are top of the list on popular food recipe websites. I can’t help just wanting to taste one! I called Marilyn and she was 10 steps ahead of me, way in the kitchen. Inspired by the summer blue sky Marilyn has recreated and shared with you a pretty, and at the same time healthy, recipe for a blue smoothie bowl, aptly named The Blue Lagoon:
3 bananas (freeze first)
half tsp powder of blue spirulina
half cup of spinach
quarter cup almond milk (unsweetened)
(you can add wherever you like )
1 tbsp coconut flakes
3 slices of dragon fruit (star-shaped or balls )
Add all these ingredients to the blender or food processor in this order: frozen bananas, blue spirulina, spinach, and unsweetened almond milk. Blend on high, stopping from time to time to stir.
Pour into a deep bowl and decorate with your toppings.

The cleaning is likely to be the longest part of preparing this awesomely blue and healthy smoothie.
